Not without the intention the artist had chosen this title by linking it with the history of this city, and the history and purpose of this manifestation, already in the IX edition, organized by Ali Daci.
"Artistic creations are related to our lives and challenges. Above all, life is a real struggle to overcome and cope with different situations, and thanks to them we create our identity at the height of the nourishing chain. Concentration is a defining product of the character of the artist's work. We are born different. Confidence is the destination that we cannot avoid, a reason that transforms our personality into a continuous struggle with obstacles.
It is important to get rid of the most popular models that exhaust us of what we have in particular from an intelligent design, "said Kelmendi on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition, reports Koha.net. While, art critics, Aldemar Ibrahimovic emphasized in his speech that "the paintings of professor Majlinda Kelmendi are directly and ambitiously related to that tradition of Albanian painting, which occupies such a high place under the common sky in the region.
Majlinda uses the innovative language of painting, which actively communicates with the visual needs of our time and what she bears. Her definition primarily goes away from the classic concept of painting and aims at moving towards absolute freedom. “The exhibition will remain open until 3 November 2017.
Later on the audience attended the scene, where the actor and poet Çun Lajçi presented his published poetry works, which were read emotionally by Agim Xheka, and the poet and literary critic, Besnik Mustafaj, which by presentations of their artistic editions enriched the IX edition of the "Ora e Maleve".
