7Arte joined the European based network of cultural centres, Trans Europe Halles

Prishtina, 10 December 2015 - 7Arte through a press release announced its membership into the European based network of cultural centres Trans Europe Halles. Trans Europe Halles (TEH) is a European network of cultural centres, initiated by citizens and artists that advocate and promote culture.

Members of Trans Europe Halles share particular experiences and knowledge on how to transform the abandoned industrial facilities into a vibrant cultural centre, through engagement and involvement of artists and the community.  7Arte has launched the concept titled “TrepçArt”, as a necessity for revitalization of certain facilities of industrial zone of Fafos/Trepça, into a centre that will promote and support art, creative industry as well as other cultural projects of international nature.

Considering that Trans Europe Halles provides contribution for building a sustainable future for the culture coming from the private sector, the membership of 7Arte into this network, will bring new cultural ideas to the region of Mitrovica and beyond. Following the attendance of 7Arte in ARTCOP 21 early this month, the membership into TEH, is considered a significant step towards the representation and involvement of Kosovo artists, coming from private sector, into culture development processes at international level.
