Petrit Halilaj's personal exhibition in Milan, Italy

Prishtina, 4 December 2015 – Petrit Halilaj an Albanian artist from Kosovo, presented with his personal exhibition "Space Shuttle in the Garden" in HangarBicocca museum in Milan, Italy, under the auspices of curator Roberta Tenconi. This is his first personal exhibition in an Italian institution and provides to the public various projects that fulfil the exhibition space.

"Space Shuttle in the Garden" is a journey in the universe and mythology of the artist. Through drawings, paintings, installations, Halilaj seizes the world around him. The conflict between Kosovo and Serbia in 1998-99, displacement, life as a refugee, and above all witness eyes, are also part of this exhibition of Kosovar artist. Petrit is one of the most representative artists of his generation. Two years ago he represented Kosovo at the Venice Biennale, thus becoming the first artist who represented Kosovo in this great art event.
