Kosovo part of European Swimming Championships

Prishtina, 30 November 2015 - Kosovo National Swimming Team will participate in the European Swimming Championships. The 2015 European Short Course Championships will be held in Netayna, Israel during early December.

Upon this event Kosovo will be represented with two swimmers, Meriton Veliu, who will compete in the following disciplines, 50m freestyle, 50m breaststroke and 50m butterfly, as well as Flaka Pruthi, whereby she will compete in 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke and  50m butterfly, as reported by Zëri.

Kosovo contingent will depart to Israel on Monday morning, i.e. from Sports Centre in Prishtina, while the competitions will take place starting from 2 until 6 December 2015.

Veton Telaku, member of the Kosovo Swimming Federation (KSF) Board, will accompany swimmers to Israel.

KSF anticipates from both swimmers the achievement of good result and improvement in their personal records which will be a great success for the swimming sports and achievements in this sport.
