The well-known Albanian-American actress Eliza Dushku has been in Prishtina. The actress, who has been staying in Albania for a week, came to Prishtina with her documentary film crew while filming a documentary about the natural beauty of Albania and Kosova.

According to Koha Ditore, she came to Prishtina together with her partner Rick Fox, the Albanian photographer Fadil Berisha, and stayed in the Hotel Victory.

Prishtina is the last stop on her agenda after the actress visited the town of Korça, which is the birthplace of her grandparents and she also visited various Albanian towns in Macedonia.

The actress was seen in “Duplex” in Prishtina. Dushku has visited Prishtina before. She promised then that she would make a film about Albania and Kosova and currently she is working on a documentary about the two countries.

“Something has happened with the film we talked about but there is nothing to report still”, said Dushku, focusing on the documentary which she is making in cooperation with a well-known American production company.

“There are people who want to know about Albania and I want to be a voice for Albanians”.

Although she has Albanian citizenship, Dushku said that she still travels on her American passport as she doesn’t have an Albanian passport yet.
