“The return” of Blerta Zeqiri awarded in “Sundance”

The movie “The Return” with its scenario written by Shefqet Gjocaj talks about the return home of a man from a Serbian prison, an arrival that gets complicated through his struggle to continue and pick up his life with his wife and his son.

“We came to Kosovo, and as you know we are a country destroyed from the war.

We are the newest state in the world and tonight we became a really independent and unsupervised state, therefore this prize is very important,” said Gjocaj who was sitting next to the film director. Blerta Zeqiri’s movie produced by “Prishtina Film,” is the first Kosovar and also Albanian movie, to participate in the official program of the biggest independent movie festival in the US, “Sundance”.
