Në rrugë movie triumphs at Hyjnesha në fron festival
A professional jury composed of actor Enver Petrovci, actor Zethana Bahtiri, actor and journalist Imer Mushkolaj, singer Naser Gjinovci and film producer Ekrem Sopi also awarded other prizes. Michele Leclerc was awarded the best direction, director of the Le nom de gens movie (France). This film also won the best actor prize for an episodic role that was given to Michelle Moretti. The best actor was awarded Jordan Simonov, for his role in the Panks not dead movie (Macedonia), while the male actor awarded for an episodic role was Bruno Shllaku for the movie Gjallë (Alive, Albania).
In the short movie category, namely in the Future Cinema, the winner movie was declared Intervista (Interview) by Burim Haliti.
The jury decided to award a special prize to the former French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin, for his presentation in the Le nom de gens movie.
The Hyjnesha në Fron festival started last Thursday in Ferizaj and fifteen short and artistic movies were displayed. Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Macedonia and France competed with their movies.
Of fifteen movies, eight were artistic movies, while seven were short movies. Five artistic movies and all the short movies were competing and they are productions of young Kosovo cinematographers and were displayed as part of the Future Cinema program. Three other movies were shown out of the competition.
The Competitive part of the festival opened with the Fig seeds movie (Turkey) directed by Selda Cicek with Ozge Namal and Derya Durmaz in the main roles, to continue on Friday with the On the road movie (Bosnia and Herzegovina) directed by Jasmila Zbanic with actors Zrinka Cviteshiq, Leon Lucev, Ermin Bravo, Mirjana Karanoviq etc. On Saturday, Panks not dead (Macedonia) movie was shown directed by Milan Blazevski, with actors Jordan Simonov, Kamka Tacinovski, Toni Mihajlovki and Xhevdet Jashari, while on Sunday, Le nom de gens movie (France) of director Michel Leclerc, with actors Jacques Gamblin and Sara Forestier in the main roles. On Monday, the evening when festival prizes were awarded, the Gjallë movie (Albania) directed by Artan Minarolli was shown, with actors Nik Xhelilaj, Niada Saliasi, Besart Kallaku and Xhevdet Ferri in the main roles.
Kosovo was presented in the festival with the Future Cinema a special program dedicated to young cinematographers.
