Kosovo - Japan, dialogue through photos

Tokyo, 26 October 2011 - 30 young photographers from Japan and Kosovo are attending a photo exhibition, “Kosovo+Japan: photo dialogue -9300 km”.

This exhibition was conceptualized as a competition between photographers intending to enable mutual exchange and introductions between the two nations which are 9300 km apart.

The exhibition was initially opened in Tokyo, at the Tokyo Midtown Design Hub Gallery which displayed photos which aim at representing daily life, youth, future, the scenery from different cities of Kosovo as well as other aspects of daily life.

The exhibition opened on October 24 and will close on October 30 whereas afterwards, the same will open in Pristina where photos from Japan will be but on display within the frames of concretely materializing the cultural dialogue between Kosovo and Japan.

Apart from the exhibition, various workshops have also been planned which will elaborate artistic and cultural matters as a part of exchanges between the two nations.
